Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
– March 19th
On arrival in Cape Town, you’ll be met and assisted with the transfer to the hotel, with an orientation drive through the city.
The rest of the day is at leisure.
With its majestic Table Mountain backdrop, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world; an eclectic mix of architectural styles reflects the tastes and dictates of the past and the more functional demands of the 20th Century. Cobblestone streets, mosques and the flat roofed pastel homes of the Malay quarter enhance a cosmopolitan ambience and in a recent development, the restoration of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront evokes images of the seafaring activities of the 19th century.
Day 2: Langa Township Tour - March 20th
Experience a seamless transfer from your hotel to Langa Township, beginning with a 45-minute guided tour at Shimansky Diamonds to see the cutting and polishing process, explore the Secret Chamber Room, enjoy bubbly, and learn about Tanzanite in the showroom.
Continue with a Half-Day Langa Cultural Experience, featuring marimba music and hands-on activities including drumming, gumboot dancing, head carrying, soccer skills, and a spirited Diski Dancing finale, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. After this rich cultural journey, return to your hotel and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Day 3: Full Day Peninsula Tour - March 21st
Journey along the stunning Millionaire’s Paradise coastline, passing Clifton, Camps Bay, and Llandudno en route to the harbor of Hout Bay. From here, enjoy a Seal Island cruise (weather permitting) before continuing along the dramatic Chapman’s Peak Drive toward the iconic Cape of Good Hope in Table Mountain National Park, where you’ll take the funicular to the historic lighthouse for spectacular views.
On the return, follow the coast to Simon’s Town for a relaxing lunch at Bertha’s Restaurant, then complete your scenic journey back to Cape Town.
Day 4: Cooking Class /Stellenbosch Winelands Tour - March 22nd
Begin your day with a transfer to Bo-Kaap for an immersive Cape Malay cooking experience. Explore the vibrant Malay Quarter, uncovering its stories and aromas before stepping into a local home for a hands-on session where you’ll mix Masala, fold Samosas, and prepare a Cape Malay Curry, paired with refreshing faloodah.
Enjoy the full-course meal you’ve created, then head to the Cape Winelands for an orientation drive through Stellenbosch and a refined wine tasting at Asara Wine Estate, complete with beautiful vineyard views. Conclude the day with a scenic return to Cape Town.
Day 5: Day at Leisure - March 23rd
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Cape Town at your own pace, returning to the hotel in time to freshen up for a memorable group dinner.
Spend your final evening at Spyced Restaurant in the Silo District at the V&A Waterfront, a vibrant destination celebrating modern African cuisine, Cape Malay heritage, and the soulful rhythms of Cape Town jazz.
Guests enjoy a unique multi-sensory dining experience, with flavors, stories, and music capturing the city’s spirit. The evening kicks off with Djembe drumming at 6:30 PM for an unforgettable start to the night.
Day 6: Cape Town to Hoedspruit - March 24th
Transfer from your hotel to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Hoedspruit (flight not included), then continue to Moditlo River Lodge. If time permits, enjoy a relaxing lunch before your first afternoon game drive. Stay 3 nights in a Luxury Room on 36,000 acres of pristine bushveld along the Mbesi River, within the Blue Canyon Conservancy near the Greater Kruger National Park.
Enjoy an authentic safari with two game drives per day, inclusive of beverages, along with welcome drinks, all meals, selected beverages, and transfers to and from the airport. Additional comforts include in-room tea, coffee, and water, while a Conservation Levy supports local preservation efforts. Exclusions include unspecified beverages, personal extras, gratuities, laundry, and wellness treatments.
Day 7: Moditlo River Lodge - March 25th
Enjoy a full day at Moditlo River Lodge, immersing yourself in the beauty of the African bushveld. Your day includes two thrilling game drives, offering the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat.
Between drives, relax at the lodge and soak in the serene surroundings, savoring the comfort and luxury of your accommodations while taking in the sights and sounds of the bush.
Day 8: Moditlo River Lodge - March 26th
Spend a full day at Moditlo River Lodge, with two exciting game drives included, offering prime opportunities to encounter the Big 5—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—alongside other remarkable wildlife.
Between drives, unwind at the lodge and take in the stunning bushveld scenery, enjoying the comfort and luxury of your surroundings while fully immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and spirit of the African wilderness.
Day 9: Departure - March 27th
After a memorable final morning at Moditlo River Lodge, take a leisurely transfer to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) as you bid farewell to the breathtaking African bushveld. Reflect on the unforgettable wildlife encounters, including sightings of the Big 5, and the immersive safari experiences that have made your stay so remarkable.

- Roommate Match is available for South Africa. Roommates will be matched 60 day prior to departure and travelers balance is paid in full.
- All travelers must be a United States citizen. To travel internationally, your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date. For this tour, your passport must not expire before October 1, 2027. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary travel documents.
- Men and teens are welcome to travel with us to South Africa.
- When booking your trip, you can choose to pay in full or set up a bi-weekly or monthly payment plan. By selecting a payment plan, you will be automatically enrolled in our auto-billing program. If you wish to opt out of auto-billing after booking, please email us at hello@paradiseviptravel.com.
